As of May 2026, standard Wisconsin license plates feature a 7-character alphanumeric format (starting with "B" as of Feb 2025, e.g., BAA-1001) in blue on a white background, with "Wisconsin" at the top and "America's Dairyland" at the bottom. New "Blackout" (white on black) and "Retro" (yellow) options are also available.
