They feature county names at the bottom, and the design emphasizes state pride and the "Kentucky Bluegrass" theme.

In God We Trust": A standard option, available for the base plate.Plate Life: New plates are reflective and intended to last five to seven years.

Numbering System: As of 2024, plates now stay with the owner rather than the vehicle under the KAVIS system.

No Front Plate: Only one rear plate is required in Kentucky.

New Option: A "Blackout" ("Nature's Finest") plate is also available, featuring a black background and a ghosted state outline.
