Florida's standard license plate features a white reflective background, green text, and a central graphic of two oranges with an orange blossom, often with a faint green state outline. It prominently displays "FLORIDA" at the top and offers three main variations for the bottom text: “Sunshine State,” a county name, or “In God We Trust”.

Design Elements: The center features oranges and blossoms, emphasizing the state's citrus industry.

Text & Colors: Green lettering on a white background with "FLORIDA" at the top in green or orange capitals.

Bottom Slogans/Text:

"Sunshine State" Plate: Traditional, featuring the state nickname at the bottom.

County Name Plate: Displays the specific Florida county of registration (e.g., Miami-Dade) at the bottom."

In God We Trust" Plate: Features the state motto at the bottom.

Numbering System: Generally uses an alphanumeric format consisting of three letters followed by three numerals or similar combinations.

Validation: A decal for the month and year of expiration is placed in the upper right-hand corner.

Standard plates are generally replaced every ten years, notes 0.5.4. These options are available at no additional cost at local tax collector offices, as shown in the FLHSMV license plate brochure.
